Join us for this FREE event! Bring your friends, the kids, the grandparents, yourselves and a potluck dish to share. The day begins at 1pm in the fields across the road where we all get a little dirt under our nails harvesting carrots for winter storage. There are also some fun activities for the children who weave their way in and out of the harvest.
At around 5pm, we shift gears and move down to the playground area where some may want to participate in sack races organized by our amazing team of apprentices/young farmers, dine on the finest potluck in the world, sit around a big bonfire, sing, play socialize and have a most wonderful day celebrating our farm our community and our food.
Date: Sunday October 21
Time: 1pm until after dark when the bonfire dies down
Come for the whole day or any part of it.
Bring a potluck dish to share, your own plates, utensils, etc. a picnic blanket if you wish.
We are looking forward to spending the day together!
