Earth-Day-Dana-GrayCelebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the farm with tours, exhibits, entertainment, food, kids’ activities and more! It’s free and all are welcome.

Here’s the schedule for our Earth Day Celebration this Saturday, April 22, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. All are welcome; free admission!:

12:00 – 1:00- Edible Weed Walk – with herbalist Reid Giacomarra

12:00-1:00- Soup, soup, soup! Cooking demo and tastings with CT Krause

1:00-2:00 – How to make the most of your share –Tips, demonstrations and tastings from founding member and amazing cook, Linda Welles

12:30-1:15- Music for Children of All Ages – Accordion and Song/sing along – with Len Mooney and Victoria

1:15-1:30- Maypole dance –Community spring dance around the maypole

1:45-2:15- Spirit Hoopers Performance with Jessie Krause and troop

2:15-3:15- Matty Carl Project, a progressive funk-fusion group from North Jersey.

2:30 – 3:15- Cooperative BioBalance – “Talk with the Fruit Trees, ” A guided visualization exercise and a Tree Whispering bioenergy-based hands-on treatment.

2:00 – 4:00- Bitter Love – Cooking demo and tastings with Kate Munning

3:15 – 4:00- Percussion/Drumming Circle

–How to use your share demonstrations
–Hayrides
–Children’s Activities – wreaths and wand making; clean water project, birdhouse building, bean shelling
–Table-top displays from local nonprofits, artists and holistic vendors
–Light garden lunch
–SwapFest! Bring good stuff you no longer need, find a treasure to take home and make a free-will donation to the CSG. Please take home anything you brought at the end of the day that has not found a home.
