Seed Saving Workshop

Seed-saving environmental stewards help preserve food security, biodiversity, and locally adapted cultivars from the comfort of their own gardens each year. Join the ranks of seed savers!

Learn how to collect and process seeds from kale, tomato, garlic, and flowers — and take home some seeds of your own for the 2026 season!

Come away with skills, inspiration, and a deeper connection to your garden’s life cycle. Also, enjoy discussion and questions with our incredible seed-saving expert, Judith von Handorf. Leave with the enthusiasm and confidence to practice seed saving on your own, plus samples of the seed we collect. No experience necessary!

Donation for the workshop:
$20 for CSG members, $25 for non-members
