3rd Annual Winter Garden Party! March 3, 2018

Join us for the 3rd annual Winter Garden Party on Saturday, March 3, 2018, 6 to 11 p.m., at  Chan’s Farmhouse, CSG at Genesis Farm, 90 Silver Lake Road, Blairstown, NJ 07825.

A festive evening of purification and celebration on the farm featuring precious warmth, light, and a tasting table laden with flavors from the garden—yes, even in the dead of winter! Fields of candles, a bonfire, music, and more welcome the return of the light as we prepare for spring. Join the fun and support this historic, biodynamic farm. Dress for the weather, since some of the festivities will be outdoors.


Hors d’oeuvres
Zaitun-e parwadeh, seeded crackers, fermented seasonal vegetables, local buffalo cheese, kiwi preserves

Carrot coconut puree with mussels
Chili, ginger, turmeric, Asian chives

Charred cabbage wedge with fish sauce vinaigrette
Toasted peanuts, fried garlic, sesame oil, cilantro

Soft-boiled farm egg, caramelized onions, brown butter, thyme

Crispy smoked pickled potatoes
Red pepper romesco, lemon aioli

Truffled grits w/ mushrooms and braised heirloom beans
Our own cornmeal & Jacob’s Cattle shelling beans

Seeded cider brittle
Homemade applesauce, spiced fresh whipped cream

Earth-Day-Dana-GrayCelebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the farm with tours, exhibits, entertainment, food, kids’ activities and more! It’s free and all are welcome.

Already a member? It’s a terrific time to renew and get reacquainted with old friends! All are welcome; free admission!

–SwapFest! Bring good stuff you no longer need, find a treasure to take home and make a free-will donation to the CSG. Please take home anything you brought at the end of the day that has not found a home.
